Smoked Pickle Pig Shots

INGREDIENTS

  • Pack of sausage
  • Pack of bacon (cut in half)
  • 1 block of cream cheese
  • 1c cheddar shredded
  • 1 tbsp relish
  • BBQ seasoning
  • Jar of thin sliced pickles

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Slice sausage into 1/4 in “coins”
  2. Wrap a pickle slice & 1/2 bacon slice around the sausage
  3. Secure with a @grillpinz or toothpick
  4. Mix cream cheese, seasoning to taste, cheddar and relish
  5. Place the mix into a piping bag, make sure it’s warm so that it squeezes out easily
  6. Fill the “shot” shaped bacon wrapped sausage
  7. Season the outside of the bacon
  8. Top with a small slice of cherry tomato or a jalapeño if you like spice
  9. Place on a wire rack for the grill
  10. Smoke at 275°f until the bacon gets crisp. This may take 45min- 1 hour depending on your bacon thickness
  11. Serve while warm
